Memories… Our history… What we were and are…
– Me and my sister were grownups before we were born in the sea.
– Did you choose us as parents?
– Yes mummy, because we love you so much. You know, we can go over the rainbow all the way to the moon.

It seems impossible that someday we will forget statements like this. We are convinced we will remember forever… But we don’t, it gets lost. I am sure you have some best memories of yourself as a child, but you wish there was more, don’t you?! Write down your memories…
Who is more important – world or children?

One of the earliest and happiest memories of my childhood goes back to when I was at the cinema with my parents. It was almost impossible to get the tickets… Me and my mom sat in the first row, and my dad 3 rows behind us. I was so excited that this memory is alive in my head as if it was yesterday.
Mum, when you become a bird you will fly. You will have wings, and you will fly. I will also be a bird…
And we will fly together…

What is your earliest memory?
I remember my mum singing a lullaby to me,… I remember the moment I woke up and realize that my dad is carrying me in his arms… feeling so safe and loved… I remember my grandma and how I am rubbing her little finger to fall asleep…
Who created life? And nature? I wanna know everything!

You will all agree that time flies by and we forget the little details like the moment when I told my daughter that I am pregnant and how she kissed my belly and smudged me with her lips full of chocolate. If I hadn’t written it down I would surely forget about her imaginary friend Borna whom she drove around in a pushchair, talked to him in the park while they were on a swing, or when she said: ˝Mum, I love you so much… it is impossible that you love me the same.˝
Humber, it`s a car. You just tell him and he drives you where ever you like. His lights are orange and it can fly.

Write down your memories for your future self
I often hear my friends say ˝I should write down my memories.˝, but they rarely do. But they ought to… You should write down your memories! It’s about the little things, those precious little moments important to you as a mother and for your kids when they grow up. It’s about keeping the moment alive forever. It’s about a smile on your face when you read it and remember it so well. It’s about the warmth around your heart when you read it. It’s about your kids realizing how happy childhood they had, and how important everything was to you.
I am sure many memories surfaced at this moment in your head. Don’t let the magic disappear… Write down your memories…
When you get to the end of your life you reach a wall. You can climb up and go up to the sky.

If I hadn’t written everything down I would have forgotten the moment when a kindergarten teacher said, with tears in her eyes, that Bella told her that her Toto is always going to be alive here in her heart… I would have forgotten that she told her dad that she loves him because he always carries her, and the moment he won’t be able anymore, she will carry him. I would have forgotten the tear in Dad’s eye when telling me this… I would have forgotten that she asked what types of moon are there, that she wants to be an astronaut or a pilot and drive all her loved ones.

How do I keep my memories?
As a teenager, I used to write a journal. With time my desire subsided, unfortunately. But when I became a mum, I started again. I just wanted to remember every single moment. I take pictures, make videos (they are some on YouTube), and write down my memories. Nowadays you don’t need an old-fashioned diary. I use mobile apps like a calendar where I write down important things. Besides that every year I make a photo book.

Go for it!
Yes, go for it, start today. Remember everything you think would be precious to you or your kids. They will be thankful for it someday and hopefully continue with this wonderful habit. For now, I mostly have my firstborn quotes, but little sis is catching up quickly. Soon I will have lots of new treasures to embed in my photo diary.

My best option is the CEWE Photoworld app. Don’t worry, this is not a sponsored post. This is just my experience and desire to share it with you. Their program gives me the freedom to do it as I wish… Everything is there, the photos and all the funny things my kids stated. Important dates and milestones. Every year they have promotional prices for one month. I grab it and get to work. It is not an easy job to do. But it is priceless… We all put our photos on USBs or SD cards, or where ever… But who watches that!? Have you ever? This way it is always handy, and every once in a while my girls get those books, and every time they have hundreds of questions. I really enjoy the moments when we all sit together and remember our past.
Let the memories be alive forever!
– What did you and dad do when you were alone? Were you sad?
– Yes, we waited for you for a long time, what took you so long?
– I was playing in a flower.
