Variations and Tips
Be creative with shapes. We made hearts and a snowman as you see in the images. So you can use this idea for any holiday using a specific mold!
Puffed rice cereal gives a more classic Rice Krispie treat texture.
If using rice snacks, crush them into small pieces so the bars press together more evenly.
Press the mixture down firmly so the treats hold their shape after chilling.
Storage
Store the treats in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days. For the best texture, let them sit at room temperature for a few minutes before serving.
